Yes. This version is a remake but it is not Ricky singing it. It isn't available for sale though. It was a "re-created" version done specifically for the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Pete Amato producer, Michael Contratto on lead and background vocals

I'm the singer, Michael Contratto. The song is not available on any album. It was created specifically for that particular dance that Mellisa was doing on the show. I don't even have a copy of the song, but at least you can listen to it here.

I love Melissa TOO! This is the story: I got a call and was asked to VOCALLY re-do Ricky Martin's "Cup of Life". I was down and was told, "by-the-way, it'll be on Ellen DeGeneres tomorrow... I was like, COOL!
A side note: I did the backups for Ricky Martin's "She Bangs". My buddy, Pete Amato, had produced a number of cuts on that album. I guess it was a natural choice to have him and myself recreate "The Cup of Life"
Then to my surprise that day, Melissa was dancing to my voice! SWEET
