  • I've seen these caterpillars near a waterfall in Meru, Kenya, was amazed and took some pictures but had no idea what it was.

  • I've seen some of these Cinnabar caterpillars at work near where I am too. They've stripped some 3ft high poisonous Tansy/Ragwort weeds of all their leaves and flowers in just a few days, and do a great job of controlling this poisonous plant. And they keep controlling it year after year too, because when the plants grow back the Cinnabar moth lays more eggs under the leaves which hatch into more caterpillars which then eat the new plants.
