  • I've listened to this performance many times since discovering it, and can't get enough. Most renditions of 547P are played at lightning speed, which is an impressive accomplishment, yet it seems that the richness of Bach's layers gets run over on the race to the finish line. I listen to Bach organ recordings almost daily, and had not ever been impressed with 547P until I heard Brian play it here.

Thanks for posting this video, and please encourage Brian to record more organ works for us!!

  • Hey guys if you want to see soem organ music and love it check out my chanel

  • Lovely to hear something played at a stately, steady tempo, with good phrasing, allowing the music to speak clearly. Wonderful sound - shame about the fractionally clipped first note!

  • @LiahonaNet AWESOME!!! I live in SLC, I'll have to check it out.

  • Lovely performance of another Bach masterpiece. Anyone know where this organ is located?

It has a lovely bright voice and great pedal stops.

  • This is wonderful ! appreciate it very much1 Thanks cazzie511. 11,12,2011

  • @mulamoodan It begins and ends in C Major, though Bach takes it on a whirl-wind tour of others key relationships. The adjoining Fugue in C Major is disctinctive in that it has the shortest fugue "subject" of any others Bach composed, 1 measure.

  • Bonito!!

  • lovely rendition, this is actually the youngest pipe organ player i have seen, never the less i find the ability to play such "keyed" instruments a true a talent. bravo

  • StrawberryMooses....this may be strange but I have a friend in Philly that got a great pipe organ from a church that was remodling and throughing it out......and trust me it can rock the neighborhood today. He had to take it apart....but it put it back together in his row house in Philly. Trust me after a Saturday night of drinking with him.....at 8:00am on Sunday morning he's doing church music and the street knows it...but they love it.

  • great technical performance-why no registration changes?
