@DjBobbyLosAngeles that's right. that time india was known as bharatvarsha and the himalayas region was known as kiratdesh. kiratdesh(now nepal) was never part of bharatvarsha(now india). if you still don't get it go and read mahabharata texts. look for kirat-parva section where you find kiratas getting ready for the battle against pandavas. kirat king yalamber was very brave and was very skilled in archery. so krishna tricked him by disguising as sadhu(hermit priest).
