Oskar Rózsa is not a big friend of pigeonholes and borders in the music: he is a studied conductor, procucer of pop and rock recordings, composer of soundtracks for films and theatre. He is an excellent bass player. He started his career as a nineteen years old bas player in Provisorium, the band of the legendary slovak musician Dežo Ursiny.

Oskar Rózsa is the father and engine of the Partnership Unlimited project, which was established especially for the 35th edition of the Bratislava Jazz Days. He invited to this project his peers - the top stars of Slovak jazz, an American trumpeter, and an avant-garde "classical" trio.
From jazz lines in Partnership Unlimited appears pianist Ondrej Krajňák, who is one of the clearest and most original pianists of his generation, the famous drummer and globe-trotter Martin Valihora, and the trumpeter Ryan Carniaux, who represents the absolute top of new wave of young jazz musicians in New York. Other part of the Partnership Unlimited is the Hugo Kauder Trio, which combines three Slovak soloists, chamber players, members of the prestigious European orchestras. The trio was founded by the oboist Ivan Danka, who invited violist Róbert Lakatos and pianist Ladislav Fanzowitz. The combination of oboe, viola and piano opened the way to rare and innovative repertoire from the works of the jewish composer Hugo Kauder (1888-1972).

The six talented and successful Slovak musicians and their American special guest are led by Oskar Rózsa together on one stage as a conduit for the original, non-recurring musical experience. We are looking forward to a great show!
