After numerous disappointments in Grand Slam finals -- most recently and notably at this year's Wimbledon when he wept following a devastating Finals loss to Roger Federer -- Andy Murray can now take his name off the list of 'best players to have never won a major. It took nearly five hours, but the 25-year old Scotsman dispatched of No. 2 seed Novak Djokovic 7-6. 7-5, 2-6, 3-6, 6-2 to win the 2012 U.S. Open.
