yes, this is Emergency Beat from VieoHelper. If you Watch CNN NewsRoom at 3pm with Over the Top Rick Sanchez, his Newscast also starts with this beat. During the buildup to War in Iraq, CNN's Wolf Blizter Reports also used it as an Opener. Very Powerful piece of Music. I also used it on a Video project when I was in Iraq.

KGMB uses this theme ("Emergency Beat") on their evening newscasts; they still use this theme. The WCCO theme is used only on their morning newscast.

I've heard that music in promos on KCNC-- does KGMB use this all the time now, or do they still use the WCCO theme?
