I just bought a Maytag similar to yours with the exception of not having an agitator. This machine, does not start when you turn it on.. It sits for 5 minutes going through some stupid sensor process. The machine spits out 2 cups of water to wash a load of clothes.. My clothes are NEVER cleaned.. They call it energy efficiency but I'm spending more money on my electricity and having to run the wash cycle twice to get gook off my clothes.. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!!

This washer and dryer suck!!! I hate to break the news to you. Maybe you will have better luck then us with this set. washer leaks all over the floor when draining and dryer makes a loud squeeking noise for about 5 minutes when I turn it on. My husband and I were all excited too about the great price and all. But now we know why. They both broke at 1 year and 2months. Warrenty is only for 1 year. Just figures...We want to fix it our self but cant seem to get the back open.

@jennynair I've still got mine and they are both working fine. I don't expect them to last 15-20 years like they used to. Nothing is built well anymore. Sorry to here you had such bad luck.
