January 28, 2012 - OPD used tear gas, flash bangs and rubber bullets against upwards of 3000 OWS/Occupy Oakland protesters who were marching against the Financial Tyranny that the corrupt Fed, Politicians and Wall Street Bankers have employed over the American People... driving our once great country into the most dire economic times since the Great Depression.

- jobs continue to be lost and shipped overseas.
- homes continue to be foreclosed upon and many cannot afford to pay their rent, healthcare, childcare or other skyrocketing costs.
- the US Government continues to support the illegal actions of the Federal Reserve imposing a Financial Tyranny upon United States Citizens, through unsustainable economics that favor the richest at the expense of the majority.
- the US Government continues to send our troops around the world, engaging in illegal wars, without the approval or Congress or the American People... getting our beloved services members killed, maimed and traumatized all the while lining the pockets of the Military Industrial Complex.
- the US Government continues to send billions of tax payer dollars in economic and military aid to foreign countries while many of our OWN citizens continue to suffer, some without homes, food, jobs, medical care, proper education and the ability to Thrive.
- our liberty, freedom and rights are being infringed upon and seemingly rescinded as the US Government ramps up its Police State actions against the American People.

this will not stand.... This Will Not Stand.

  • flashbangs right into people faces! i couldnt do that as a cop, how can you throw that knowing how much damage you could cause a person.

  • looks like the odds are a little uneven. Time to stop going down there expecting a peaceful protest. Glad to see some make shift shields, start coming prepared, everyone should be concerned with this escelating police INSTIGATION of violence.

  • all you need is a gasmask and ear plugs

  • Now, we're all Greek.

  • Occupy is no longer a fledgling movement. In addition to protests like these, they've been calling out really high profile politicians to their faces. Watch "Occupy vs. Top 1%" to see.
