Dmomita went back to her roots to find the Tea Cake recipe..I remember these Tea cakes that my Great grandmother use to make, and I remember that my taste buds were never so happy in my whole entire life. Let's see if I can make them happy again.. MAMA I am going to give it a try but I will never be like you.

dmomita plz make us some more vid's ...I really enjoy each and every one of them including meeting your lovely family..now where is those tea cakes?? serious out here in Calif don't know if I have seen tea cakes unless they passed me by? so I am very curious as what they are..thinking are they light? are they heavier like pound cake? ..where does the syrup come into play..soooo plz
