GOLD!

What a treasure, in a creepy sort of way.
Perhaps this bit of film could be retold / remade into some whacky sci-fi comedy.
Maybe a twisted title like, "Santa Of The Apes", or even, "Christmas On Banana Planet" would make for a half-assed start to some would-be screenwriter currently suffering from writer's block...

we have this on old VHS compilation and rediscovered it a few years ago. We watch it as a family and laugh like hyenas

A grubby, filthy-bearded Santa... cutaways to the illegitimate offspring of The Thin Man's dog Asta... the face of frozen fear on the little girl, and her brother obviously drugged on heavy opiates by "Satan Claus"... heaven knows what this philosophizing old geek has in mind for Christmas morning. "The selfish monkeys want to get Charlie's pretzel the easy way!" "Gobbling up skins and all!" AAAAUUGGGHHHH!!! HALP!!! HE'S GOT ME!!! LEMMEE OUTTA HERE!!!!!

When a bunch of us had a regular movie-watching get-together, this was one of our favorite finds. We called it "F##ked-Up Monkey Christmas."

Tear apart the baby's rattle?!?! Wow, I'm a little scared now.

SANTA CLAUS STORY (1940's, 10m)
A Castle Films title from the 1940's, this bizarre portrait of a bucolic Chrismas Eve in Everyman's town, USA, gets weird when Santa arrives, puts little Tommy and Suzie on his knee, and tells them the story of monkey Christmas. Keep an eye out for the numerous Fido reaction shots

Santa's completely insane. "And remember children: everything ends in a great dispersed void of complete entropy from which nothing can ever emerge again, Amen."
Gee, Santa - dial it down.
i saw this in texas at the alamo drafthouse. i thought id never get to see it again. thankyou!

Yeah the Mr. Sinus Christmas Special back in 2002. I got the tape from Jerm Pollet and dubbed it.
