    avobenzone, octocrylene = chemical

    titanium dioxide, zinc oxide = physical

    if you don't see any of the above ingredients, don't buy the sunblock/sunscreen, because chances are that it won't block the full spectrum of the UVA and/or UVB sunrays.

    Also, its best to buy a product which also lists the actual concentration of the mentioned active ingredients.

  • where can you see or know that the sunblock is a physcial or chemial sunblock?

  • I wonder if you could recommend the BEST SPF 100 sunscreen that has NO animal fats and oils and NO vegetable fats and oils in it , I really need your recommendation .
