GMA's 2003 New Artist of the Year nominee, Paul Colman Trio, performs Turn at the 34th Annual GMA Dove Awards in Nashville, TN on 10 April 2003.

Later in the show, the Trio was awarded the New Artist of the Year title.

Paul Colman is an egotistical musician....and he really doesn't have any right to be.

Paul is far from egotistical. He is a humble man with a passion for sharing the Word and loving people. If you actually knew him, you would have a very different opinion.

Have you ever looked up the definition of egotistic? All I have seen, heard and read about Paul Colman - unfortunately I haven't met him in person yet, but have talked to people who have - he strikes me as just the opposite of what you say.... I'd be a bit more careful making a statement like that.....

Egotistic: having an inflated idea of their own importance, conceited, swollen-headed, vain, characteristic of false pride, having an exaggerated sense of self-importance

That is FAR from what Paul is like. Meet the man before you finalize an opinion of him. I've known him for several years and egotistical is nowhere near a true description of him. He has touched many people through his music/lyrics and one-on-one conversations. Maybe it's his Aussie personality that makes him seem that way?!?
