Played at the 2004 New Conservatory of Music (NCM) Festival held at UTSC
I played this piece in the Length of Study Category of 67 (competed against other students with around 67 months of study). I ended up with first place.
Looking back Im pleased with my performance despite the obvious screw up at 2:00 and a few more mistakes. I could have done a bit better with the phrasing in the right hand. I hope to relearn this piece and play it with more melodic expression.
This piece is not technically challenging but more so musically. The arpeggios in the right hand must be played so that the melody (highest note) is heard.
