@FeiLong2310 Yes. Only one or the other would happen, they wouldn't both come out. So, if for instance, Cody decided to buffer U2 while using standing light kick to catch Dhalsim backdashing, the Ultra would only come out if Sim actually backdashed, because St. LK isn't special-cancellable, meaning if it connects, that's all that happens. If Sim backdashes, the LK wont' connect, meaning the ultra will come out and he will be caught by it.

@FeiLong2310 With an option select, you are cutting off your opponents routes of escapes by doing one of two things, which I'll call "A and B."Let's say you wanted to keep them from escaping. You'll do one of two things. Option one would only come out if the opponent did A, while option two would only come out if the opponent did B. They will never come out at the same time, and both cover our opponent's avenues of escape.
