REVELATION 19:1-8***Bride of Christ, meaning through the Holy Spirit they did not prostitute themselves to the world or sin, staying holy as Jesus. And also Rev. 21:2. It says that the new Jerusalem was prepared "AS" a bride. Not THE bride. Go over the Scriptures, brother. And pray about it. You're deceiving many people and will be held accountable for it on judgment day. LORD bless. Love you in Christ.

@MrDavidKeys Metaphor: a figure of speech in which a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable in order to suggest a resemblance.
Let your yes be yes.

I have heard of the bride of christ before, but was always a bit confused over the term. Well done coty for explaining it more clearly than others.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ the Bride - New Jerusalem is the Church- the believers. the idea of the city coming down from heaven is speaking to the new nature of believers is 'from above' .

Great points. We must learn to stick to scripture, no matter what ideas man has put into our head about what the bible says. You can not be wrong when you stick to scripture. Period. Great vid.
We should be happy that the new Jerusalem is the bride of Christ, because Jesus prepared that place for his children and his chosen who are saved, once the tribulation, millennial reign and white throne judgement has ended. God had promised to make everything new, so all the troubles and circumstances Israel has gone through will be no more. It will be like God dwelling with his people, knowing there will be no opposition to them.

Hi, Coty I want to share a thought and it comes from experience with Jesus and a thorough understanding of His written word.
We are all called to long after God, to love Him with all our being, to look to Him for protection and provision, and in general cling to Him as He said a man and woman in marriage are to cleave/cling to each other. As the smaller person in the union, we are compared to the bride. Yet we are also His children. We are many things at once to Him. It is supernatural.
