Actually, having a blue rope is a good thing. My team chief was one so he knew everything. They know the game and will set you up for success if you do your part by trying your best and helping others. Cooperation is key for those 8.5 weeks. There are times where I miss it.

did any other airmen notice the Blue Rope incorrectly charged that weapon? look closely...he charged it with his trigger finger hand. you're supposed to use your off hand to charge the weapon.
