@EbonyCPrincess I agree, Kate Gosselin even admitted this herself. She says that it is impossible to give each child all the attention they deserve everyday--and she only has 8!! Just like Octomom, having this many kids is irresponsible without the right support system and financial stability.

The point about the editing was a great one. Now, back in the day nobody said anything about folks having 15 kids. But times are different now and the means by which you are able to support children have changed. I do give her credit in that she has custody of all of her children, but honestly it seems irresponsible and unfair to all of her children. She cannot possibly be a good parent to ALL of them and I'm not even talking about financially.

ooh y'all i agree with u meka, this chic needs her tubes tied. yes beautiful, in the old days socialism wasnt as prevalent as it is today. back then our ancestors worked to feed their 16 kids.... she needs to go to school and get a high paying job and meka youre right, theres no help for caregivers who take care of our disabled kids. both of u made good points.  yesss beautiful, the system stops u more than help u. both of your views hit it right on the money!

I saw this on FB this morning and the first thing that came to my mind was maybe all those kids might be better off in group care than with her. She clearly has some type of issue to have those many kids in this day and age with - I assume - little education and job skills. If she does keep her kids I'm sure she will raise them with the mindset of "help me, give me, take care of me" instead of teaching them to be self suffiecient because most kids who grow up like them stay in the system.
