@SuprSlowMo What do you mind it look nothing like the show. The setting in DBE was great as in in TLA and the characters actually resembled the characters more than in TLA. This movie was a definite white wash but in DBE they had all kinds of races (white, asian, saiyan, ape, and namekian). I'll amit that TLA started of with the Avatar feel but left out what was important in the series. DBE wasn't making a direct adaption but it was evolving the DB to make the movie more realistic in a way.

@IcecoldSaiyan88 Never in hell. You youself were falling asleep. You don't speak for everyone. That's a personal problem. TLA stayed true to the story in terms of the overall Book 1 story. DBE didn't even LOOK remotely similar. TLA looked like the series at least. The dialouge was horrible in TLA but if you fix that and change the story around they movie would have gotten a higher rating. TLA>DBE everytime. DBE was just terrible. TLA just needed a new director.

@SuprSlowMo yes the TLA was worst than DBE. In DBE the movie had flaws but at least it didn't put people asleep. I watched TLA three times because the first time I fell asleep on it in theaters (accidentle). Then rented it from red box and fell aslepp on it again (many just really ttired). The third time I watch it I kinda like it but wasn't able to get into it. On the other hand DBE was funny at some points and the characters were developed more. For the effects its a tie.They were my favorite.

@Zephyrnix I speak Chinese, I know the other pronunciations are "Asian" pronunciation, but iroh was definitely not. besides, I couldn't care less for the change, it alienateds the original fans, and doesn't please Asians much anyways

@Zephyrnix Made DBE look like a masterpiece? You're out of your god dam mind. TLA stayed loyal to the series in terms of the general story of Season 1. They left out a lot of stuff but at least it was somewhat similar to the series. You weren't watching the same movie as me, or you didn't watch it, but this obviously wasn't as bad as DBE. White washing the cast had nothing to do with the failure of the movie. Putting Asians in the movie along with MNight wouldn't have helped it.

it wasn't "white washed"... most of the cast from middle east/India... but i am with you on that it is a show that has a lot of Asian/ Eskimo/ native American aspects about it... and the movie did suck, though i was lucky, i didn't pay to see it, other then 'what has been seen can't be unseen'.

"like, what are you? Powah rangahs!?"

M Night Shyamalan should be tossed into a burlap sack and beaten with sticks.
To explain the names Zeph, he said he wanted to use the actual Asian pronounciations. So he technically did more research than watching the shows. X)

@RizingBlackSun
So he contrast the names to make it sound more Asian, but then he watch washed the main cast.... That's even worst.
