Tape Op Magazine is a bi-monthly publication covering music recording (the print magazine has the largest circulation in the world in this field), as well as a book publisher and the host of tapeop.com.
Since 1996 our articles have covered producers, engineers and musicians with gear reviews and more. Tape Op's focus has been on creativity and inspiration, rather than simple discussions of recording equipment. Issues have been re-printed in several volumes as books, with more to come.
