Salvation is simple fellows and there is time to receive it. However, building yourselves up as atheist is a path that will ultimately preclude that simple act of accepting Christ's free gift of eternity.. Please, before you flame me for my opinion, consider this. Also, you might want to check out Lee Strobel's, former atheist, A Case for Christ. It's on youtube and like salvation it's free.
You guys are bright and articulate people. I pray you find the Love of Jesus Christ while you can.

Well, the fact that the Ring of power makes you invisible if you put it on your finger is mentionned in the three books of the Lord of the Rings. Why don't you accept it as a miracle ?

This is effing ridiculous!
God: "Hmm... how best to convert as many people as possible... I know, I'll appear to a mass-murdering unbeliever - he'll pull the crowds!"
"Er, your lordship... why not just appear to everybody at once? That way you'd convert them all..."
"SILENCE, MINION!"

If Jesus establishes his Kingdom on Earth and he directly tells me that he fed the 5,000, I would accept that as pretty good evidence that there was a miracle.

The problem with attributing an event to God is that it doesn't tell how it occurred.
Stating that God started life on earth doesn't tell you how He accomplished it (something far more fascinating IMHO).
Miracles, divine intervention, and that ilk are neither rational nor helpful. They satisfy only a personal need to provide an answer. They do not actually provide an answer and are irrelevant to what others should think.
