  • whoever made this movie I must admit did do a pretty good editing job!

  • @4L3X4ND3R5 How do evacuate 10 million people in a matter of hours? The US army wouldnt be able to do much. Not only New York City would be hit but Boston, Philadephia, Charleston, Savannah, Miami well most of Flordia. There are 65 million people living on the eastern seaboard. To evacuate that many people is a logistical nightmare.

  • @grassman42085 What about the other 100 million in Europe and Africa and the 80 million in Central andSouth America and Caribbean? 245 million people to be evacuated in a few hours, now THERE'S your logistical nightmare.

  • @mryellow123 Well I read that the 9.1 quake that hit Sumatra in 2004 was so powerful it was twice the TNT tonnage used throughout WW2, so detonating a single nulcear device would be nothing compared to a mag 9 quake.

  • @OrbBlueCitizen A nuclear weapon would be larger by many orders of magnitude then any ever detonated, to displace that amount of water. Sure nuclear reactions are a big deal, but nothing when it comes to geological forces combined with water (especially colossal land-slides into the sea which can displace more water then an underwater earthquake displacing the crust up/down ever could).

  • @MisterCharlton You do know that the Potomac empties into the Chesapeake Bay right? There would be flooding along the Potomac and anyone living on the bay itself would be severely affected.

  • wow cool.. i live in new york and i'd love to experience something like this... and it's kinda coll seeing my city underwater.. :D

  • funny how this is supposed to be about america but everyone's British

  • good job on video...its just they missed something!i thing that dog should run much before the people started to run...

  • @LemireCassie Don't forget to say your prayers in Latin, hit yourself in the head with your Bible, kneel before the cross and whip yourself while repenting. Don't forget to dress like a monk when doing this, not the Buddhist kind, but the badass Catholic kind!

  • @MyPaddyp Actually, two to three miles is more accurate. In real life, it wouldn't go as far inland as one may anticipate (like in deep impact and 2012) and will be more like the tsunami in day after tomorrow (I haven't seen any of those films). The surge, however would be a different story, and would affect 20-40 miles inland. If you live in Alexandria or Williamsburg, VA, your screwed, but if you are in Richmond or the greater DC area, you won't be affected (very much at least)

  • More like it goes 100 miles inland, 10's of millions dead, and not many buildings left standing, can a building withstand a wrecking ball 500 feet high that has the weight of a country like greenland????
