Im new to this stuff, im trying to learn the different terms that are use in this activity cause my main is spanish not english. For what i see dredging is using a vacuum to suck the gold from the floor of the river, behind big boulders and rocks?

That is right, but right now dredging is not allowed in California

Thanks. Too bad that dredging is banned currently. Many people have lost their source of income. Several supply shops have gone out of business too!

Man I hope they open the season this year. That literally broke my heart when they closed it. I've raced dirtbikes, mtn bikes, snowboard... there is nothing as fun as dredging and finding gold. Watching vids like this, make me feel like a junkie that needs a fix! By the way the official DFG report says that dredging only creates 50 jobs statewide. I think they need to add some numbers and a comma to that BS.
