movie - CQ
director- Roman Coppola
2002

Eleanor Coppola (wife of Francis Ford Coppola) documents the making of the movie CQ, crested by her son Roman and produced by Francis Ford.

A very interesting movie with a story revolving around the film industry of the late 60's. Any aspiring filmmaker should see it.

  • I liked CQ, it was a great movie. I also love Eleanor Coppola's work. From 'Notes' to 'Hearts of Darkness', which I hope to be able to see on DVD someday. I admire the fearlessness of the Coppola family, in sharing their lives with the world via these documentaries. I think 'HoD' is quite an important film.

  • the Coppolas are such talented people. i find something unique in each one of their works.

  • Yah, Jason! I love She Bangs The Drums by The Stone Roses

  • i serendipitously discovered this lovely 'making of' after stumbling upon a video "Lisztomania" by the Parisien band PHOENIX, which inspired me because i'm finishing a 7 year-long process doc about classical pianist marika bournaki... then i subsequently meandered to their music video "Funky Squaredance" directed by roman coppola (loved it), which has its own magical meandering... and then my train of consciousness brought me here. merci mille fois - you are a beautifully talented family.

  • Yeah, they are! This family is awesome. I learn so much with them about cinema, you know?

  • Thanks for posting it. I like this movie, it's fun, the characters are very nice, it's quietly and entertaining, talk about cinema, it's not appellative, it's not so romantic. You have a very easy connection with Paul, his wishes and his dreams are very close to the public, I felt it, a little. I'm not pro yet, I'm working on it.

  • Thanks for posting this! Just saw the movie over the weekend and really liked it. !!!

  • The Coppolas and Schwartzmans are so talented!
