New amp video - an early 70's Bandmaster Reverb TFL 5005D in a repro 2x10 combo cabinet with Oxford 10L6-2's. Overdrive is a Barber Direct Drive, guitar is my 06' R9 with Throbak SLE-101 LTD's.

Nothing special, really; just a well-tuned amp with that classic Fender tone that works great with the extra mids from the Direct Drive.

Original backing track available as "Fished In BT" at

  • how do you like the amp?

  • @jtp0213 I dig it - definitely loud enough for a decent sized room when you wind it up. I think the Pro/Super Reverb class power transformer is one of the reasons it stays clean a little longer than my Vibrolux. Sounds great with a Les Paul through an OCD!

  • You're my hero for some time to come :)

  • Wow, thank you, and thanks for the view! :-)

  • Beautiful tone, and cool, good time blues feel, as usual. Love the double stops. Nice slide too.

  • Thank you :-)
