ok, here's the real deal. The group asked to come visit the campus, they were not completely declined, they were allowed to come, but not to campaign on campus grounds (which is understandable because it is a christian university and homosexuality is against school policy.) They agreed to those terms. They knew they would get arrested by going in the chapel because it is on campus. And I think they also knew that by getting a few ppl arrested they would get them much more publicity.
I'm not trying to change you mind about anything. I'm just trying to let you know that there are Gay people out there that love the Lord and serve him on a daily basis.
Jesus was a radical. He saw thing very different from the majority in his time. He said thing people didn't like and where not ready to hear, but they where the truth. And the truth is, God loves and affirms the LGBT community.
BTW I'm not affiliated with any church or denomination.
whatever i dont hate your judgemental you know your bible, or uyou use bible gateway..but in the end i know im right you cant change my mind...i know whats right...the greater part of the christian community holds to the idea that homosexuality is a sin...so the few methodists..and hold outs like yourselves think that you got it right...no...you dont ...your people are more like th jim jones cult with these radical ideas that suck people in
No offense, but in my opinion, I find it hard for you to call yourself a Christian, when you support discrimination and hate to the LGBT community, which I am apart of. My relationship with Jesus Christ is personal, and only he can judge it. He created me and loves me just as I am.
And if you would put Romans 1:26-27 into context you would have realized that he was referring to people who God already reveled himself to. "19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them." AKA People who have already completely turned there backs on God.
Second, You said it yourself. God created Man and Woman. Each with there own unique personalities, sexuality and thinking, all of which rely on each other. Where in the Bible does it specifically say that being gay is a sin? I doesn't. Man says that.
First off Exodus and Leviticus are two different books in the Bible. One is the book of the Law, and the other is the explanation of a journey out. Exodus 20 has nothing to do with Leviticus 18 [which we are currently talking about] The ten commandments are not a holiness codes, they are Moral guidelines.
of moral character..they will be totally depraved commiting adultery..burning in lust for one another...confused sexually...they will mock god and turn from him and he will let them run loose because they want to do what they want. Dont confuse doctrine..and no offense but it be very hard in my opnion to call yourself a beleiver in jesus and support homosexuality..its borderline hypocrisy
man you have your doctrine all wrong...i know after god died the Law System was broken..but what your saying is not true. In the old Testament..god says dont kill..and we hold it true today we dont say oh thats for the old testament holiness law..no ..the same goes for gods purpose for heterosexual relationships. He created man, and women. homosexuality is a sin..and its wrong...it says in romans that in the last days man will sleep with man and woman with woman no one will have any sense cont..
