The Global Education Partnership Y.E.M.S.

The Global Education Partnership is an organization that wants to encourage intercultural communications in various regions of the underdeveloped world through English teaching and intercultural sessions.

This is a huge undertaking and our focus this year is the Yunnan Ethnic Minority School Volunteer Project (YEMS). We will be teaching English at two schools for two weeks in China, there will be Chinese speaking volunteers, and intensive workshops on how to make a lasting impression and how to teach to speakers of other languages.

We will be giving out the books and school supplies through our fundraisers, and providing students with this opportunity of intercultural resources. With 100% of the proceeds earned through the Global Education Partnership you can enable a child to to be self-motivated and make a difference in their life. Whether it may be tuition for a year, or books and school supplies for the classroom... Every donation matters and we would love your involvement!

There are three ways you can get involved with the Global Education Partnership:

1. Purchase our inspiring American Apparel Brand shirt designed by Chicago artist Kyle Harter. Fair-trade and made by the screenprinting company Replica Chicago using soy based and eco-friendly inks. They are $25 per shirt plus shipping, you can order them by contacting gepdomore@gmail.com and state the size that you would like.
2. Make a monetary donation. With donations of $10 or above you will receive a personal thank you card written by one of the students' you have helped by the end of the September 2012 from the village in Yunnan Province, China.
