HAce poco leí una historia donde unos atletas argentinos estaban entrenando en un cerro habían encontrado a un ser misterioso que los seguía de cerca. Lo describieron como un humanoide tipo pie grande, llamado Ucumar Zupai, y luego se dijo que un gaucho a caballo también se había encontrado con esa curiosa criatura!!

I think sloths do still exist. The dogman of Michigan is an example. The Shasta Ground sloth fits the description. More plausible than werewolves. Check "Return to the Ice age: The La Brea Eploration Guide" click on flora and fauna then on Ground sloths for a photo.
