  • Yea, that was Gene Lebell, and yea, I wrote the original script for the show. It was my third year in LA and I was tired of waiting around to get cast in a leading role. We shot a 5 minute trailer for the film which was marketed at AFM in '92 and picked up by Shapiro Glickenhaus who had a distribution deal with MCA/Universal. The film was shot for $1.5mil in 14 days and we had a month to rehearse the fight scenes.
