Thanks for the video... I was there in 5 th grade Mr, Seagull's class, Ramona school.
It took the roof off our room, well tarpaper, rocks and stuff so we could see the sky.
The Daily Breeze took our picture looking through it. Didn't hurt my house just off Ramona & 141st St. Cant wait to show my daughters this video thanks again. J.R.
I remember that day and tornado. I was in first grade at Eucalyptus school in Mrs. Wolverton's classroom when it hit. I remember that whomever said "Silence, Take Cover" said it as the tornado hit the building. I remember lots of flying glass and square ceiling tiles, wind and the pea gravel that they put on the roof was blowing around and felt like getting sandblasted --they stung. I don't remember much after that, except that Mrs. Wolverton looked scared and small standing in the corner..
I remember this tornado. I was attending Eucalyptus Elementary. I was in the 3rd grade. I was sharpening my pencil when small trees just layed down and the teacher yelled, "get under your desks NOW!" Windows broke and the awning that guarded us from the sun, rolled up like a top in the loudest sound I had ever heard. We weren't sure what to do. Our parents didn't pick us up. I asked a teacher, and my picture was taken. I was on the front page of the Daily Breeze. "Teacher Comforts 2 children.
I was at Ramona Elementary, 5th grade. I remember being bored, listening to my teacher and looking out the window. I raised my hand and asked what that was pointing to the tornado. We had to duck and cover. One of our friends had their roof blown about 2 miles away. We all had to wait in the cafeteria for our parents because there were so many hot electrical wires down. Thanks for sharing this awesome video!!

I remember this day. I just turned 8 and was at school. Cool vid looking at the cars and ppl back then. I never actually got to see any damage that was done.
AMAZING! I was in 2nd grade and remember ducking and covering and then
being stunned walking home and seeing all the debris. Lived just offa Ramona
and 129th, and the tornado took a backyard sun-umbrella. Thanks so much for
this footage! --Lyle Tucker
