The popular Rush series has been redesigned in 2009 for even greater performance. The Rush III now has a new shape and bridles. Easy relaunch after a crash without help. Super durable and easy-to-fly, the Rush III is the perfect first step into power kiting.

  • how fast could 160lbs go with a 2.5m kite on a board? I want to buy one just not sure

  • @Ripped4lyfe Depends on wind, your weight and terrain friction. But you can go pretty darn fast on them. Check out our other video called Traction Kite Jumps and Mountain Board Tricks

  • the beauty of it, is that it collapses without braking anything. I don't think it has any fiberglass rods or the like.

  • @romafern2010 Yes it doesn't break. Just absorbs the impact so you can relaunch and keep going

  • what was the wind speed this day??

  • @TheDylan408 About 17 knots. Thanks

  • I love my rush III, though mine is a 2008.

And thanks for the gratuitous skin shot!

  • Ok, help me out here...Please! I've been flying my rush pro 3.5 for a year now while I'm saving for a bigger kite. I'm 135lb, live in Utah where average wind is 9mph. I've had pro lessons on water and fly my rush Pro 3.5 with a skateboard often...get my landboard tomorrow :) I've decided to go with a HQ neo 2 so I can use it land, snow, water...all year long. I don't know if I want the 8m or the 11m. Any suggestions for my weight and my local wind speeds?

  • @styroyou this Rush doesn't water relaunch but the HQ Hydra does.

  • Hi,your kite is lovely...I have a much earlier version of this kite,I have 2,the largest has a 6ft span+have a few joint problems I haven't been able to fly it without a 2nd pair of hands for a few yrs:( Last time I flew it I got dragged about 15ft along the beach haha, awesome:)

Have been out this morning with my little box kite up on the South Downs by Brighton..there's just something about kite flying I totally love..Do you construct your own kites?and I hallucinate at 0.55 secs? lol, cheers

  • nice!!! Super cool heights!
