Beethoven's Triple Concerto in C major for Violin, Cello, and Piano / Anne-Sophie Mutter, violin / Lynn Harrell, cello / Andre Previn, piano / London Phil. /
Beautiful Mutter- wow! bravo! typical female German sound- the power, depth, articulation... plus surprisiing Previn! Not bad at all. And Lynn, please don't play Beethoven.
It is really a pain. If you must, do something about ur vibrato.
Shear Beauty! I grew up with the version by Sviaoislav Richter, David Oistrakh, Mstislav Rostropovich, Herbert von Karajan and the Berliner Philharmonker. This performance is the equal, and of course because these are very great artists, this performance contains insights not heard in that other exalted version. I also had the great privilige to have heard the Istomin, Stern, Rose play the piece in concert with Leonard Bernstein & the NY Philharmonic.

This is truly a masterpiece that is sadly under represented on the concert stages of the world. A true chamber concerto.
