That goal by Perreault might be considered a bad goal since the angle was bad and it went between the goalie's legs, but the thing is most players wouldn't even think of shooting from there, and the goal that Kane scored last week to win the Cup for the Hawks was similar in that the goalie just doesn't expect it. It's the sign of a smart hockey player to try unconventional things. Among the many reasons Gretzky was so great, one was the fact that he didn't think anything was impossible.

74 summit was a bunch of hasbeen NHL players who played in the WHA. NHL Players were superior.

You're wrong. They lost the 2nd game in Toronto by a score 1-4 . I have the dvd set. One Soviet goal was disallowed, but they played so badly - except Tretiak - that really deserved to lose that game.
