@Asakaro: Well, it is said that some Spartan shields covered almost the whole body, from neck to ankle, and these would be wielded by a 5'10 6 feet men if not a bit shorter

where do you put the paper mache

This is the most intuitive guy I've ever seen. He's like the McGuiver of nerds.

@epicfantasy I've now decided to put a bible tverse on it (as I said, many changes), Ephesians 6:16, "Take on the Shield of Faith..."
-
@Asakaro not necessarily, they really wouldn't have to be. A technique that the Spartans used often was the phalanx, making a wall of shields and throwing the spears over.you wouldn't need that big of shields for that.

@epicfantasy I'll send you a few pics of the different stages

@epicfantasy Alright, thanks!
hey Will! I've just put the finishing touches on mine. It started out os Perseus's shield, with a lightning bolt ornament, then i took the rim off, and replaced the bolt with my initials, which i did with spray paint and a stencil i made. today i used stencils and acrylics to put the words "AΘΗΝΑ"(Ancient Greek for Athena) and "ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ"(Ancient Greek for Apollo), my two favorite Olympians. I want to make the rest of your spartan stuff as well!

@300spartanswin I think I see. As you tighten down the bolts it will pull down the cirlce into the parabolic shape.
