@newtribefroboy Just to help you out a little. It doesn't matter what chords you play, you're practicing double strumming not any certain chord. So to be fair to jchan985 he is showing you a visual. It's a double strum tutorial.

@narpeth04 He's not playing for beginners. If you're just starting out you shouldn't be trying to double strum it's not basic at all.
-
this would be more helpful if we could see what chords you're playing. some of us are visual and audio learners. thanks.

Hi ! Great tutorial. very helping, I am almost there with the double strumming.
Question for you jchan985, not about the double but about this little what you call "cross" picking (or whatever it's called) you do at 6:34 : how do you do that ? Do you have a particular pattern prepared or do you just follow a rythm and pick randomly ? Do you know where I can find a tutorial for this ? Thanks. Keep on with that great work.
What chords are you using relative to the capo?
Thanks.. that was really good.

@PeidoLord You're welcome :) thanks for watching. so the chords are E, E/G#, A, B, C#, and F# (I think that's all I played?). Relative to capo...what do you mean by that?

excellent detail, what cords are you playing? Thanks

they're half capo chords - just e, e/G#, a, b, etc...simple stuff, but you need that partial capo to do it
