A very intense and special moment with the legendary Manual Molina, at about 4am in Triana, during the shooting of Being in the World.

  • Somebody please help translate the missing lyrics...I couldn't get them. Thanks!

  • @ruspoli Hi Tao. From the minute 3:38 he says: "Mira lo que te he comprado, en la velá (velada) de santa Ana, mira lo que te he comprado, un puñado de almendras verdes, para comermelas a tu lado" Probably my translation is full of mistakes, but would be something like: "look what I've bought for you, at the velá of santa Ana, look what I've bought, a few green almonds, to eat next to you" :)

By the way...great videos Tao, just great.

    Juan

  • @meinato Thank you Juan! what does he say at 1:54 right after ya tengo el barco y la mar...

  • cruzcampo, la mejor cerveza del mundo

  • @ruspoli at 1:53 he repeats again, "the boat, and the width of the wide sea.. " which is very literal. It's a very great lyric. He's such a poet. I can feel what he means here, he's free, and the sea is wide and vast.. so if you can find something to play around with those feelings and how vast the sea is.. you're good. by the way, the rest of your translations are right on and very expressive and i like that because it doesn't ruin the integrity of the song and the video. love ur vids.

  • @meinato that's a good translation. use that one.

  • Magnificent

  • @ruspoli "Ya tengo el barco y la mar, el barco y el ancho del ancho mar..." wich is: "...the boat and the width of the wide sea..."

If you have more, just let me know!!

  • yer! mon... I'll have what he's drinking.

    Love your love project Tao.

  • @ruspoli could you translate the one from your travel series #9 haha thanks Tao so much for these videos and thanks for bringing Andalusia to my bedroom, although I need to go there one day!
