What will happen if you didn't burn the zombie's body?

The zombie would mutate further & eventually rise again as a Crimson Head.

Crimson Head? I heard of them! They're suppose to be worse then a zombie. So how long does it take for it to mutate?

Each zombie takes a different amount of time, depending on when you killed them & how far you are in the game. For example: say I kill the zombies you first encounter in the lab(at the end of the game). They would become Crimson Heads by the time I'm trying to escape the lab regardless of how fast I went through it. If you don't trigger them to get up by getting to a certain point in the game then they'll rise roughly 30 minutes after you killed them the first time.

@Jaidabecca i got a question,when u kill a crimsion head,can they come back to life after a certain amount of time?

@STARWEB912 No, if you kill it when it's a Crimson Head it stays dead in this game. Although, a killed Crimson Head can further mutate into a Licker in the canon story.
