  • how is that gonna help with the downforce

  • the angle of attack increases during braking >>> leading to increased downforce

then the angle of attack decreases in straight line (almost flat) in effect decreasing downforce and increasing straightline speed, even with similar downforce

  • the regulations say that external parts of the front wing are allowed to flex to a certain amount of cm when under high air pressure, this front wing bridge is clearly an external piece therefore it can flex, if one watches the video the actual front wing structure does not flex/bounce etc which it isnt allowed to do therefore mclaren havent made a front wing that does so, now can we stop moaning please?

  • just place ur mouse pointer over the Bridgestone logo on its lower element and watch is FLEX ASWELL!!!!!!!!

  • It's just vibrating and just bending a bit from high forces of airflow

  • mclaren bastardo ferrari is the father

  • @JUNIORROTAX55 Mclaren didnt have Newey in 08 at all ! Newey actually moved to RBR in 2006 but cause he didnt bring RBR to the front of the grid until 2009 that probably had something to do with your thoughts. Its when the regulations changed for 2009 that he got to weave his magic ! cause before that RBR were so far behind the already stable regulations it took 3 years to catch up & in 08 were it not for a 30 - 40 BHP power defecit I reckon the Silverstone front row would'nt of been a one off !

  • @siskue2007 this is when mclaren had adrian newey, this is when they were on par with ferarri as the best cars on the grid. red bull have had adrian newey since 2009 when the red bull was the fastest car on the grid and has been since...

  • What's the problem? Wings are allowed to flex a certain amount, and it was even more lenient under the 2008 regs. If the FIA - who were unbelievably bad in 2008 - wanted to get McLaren for it, they would've done.

  • I think thats not really a flexible wing. Cause only the extra part on the wings is vibrating...(useles part on top of the wing)

  • @gnark1ll1us Play Rfactor... Its only good for you :D

  • It is not against the rules for the wing to flex. it is against the rules if it doesnt reach a certain height off the floor, *cough cough* redbull

  • I think people are confusing flexing with vibrating
