I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I'm glad that I wasn't there in the first row shaking Stevie's hand, b/c there's no way I would have ever let go (:

When Stevie ray vaughan has a bad day. He is still 10X better then me on a good day.
-
What does Stevie say instead of "Might even raise a little sand?"
-
@strangeroussss this was at the peak of his drug use, you can see that on him and his playing.
-
leave the man alone , he was happy, he had no pain.

Who the fuck has the nerve to walk up to SRV in the middle of a solo in Voodoo Child and shake his hand!! LOL I love that guy!! lmao
-
Who is the guys that shakes stevies hand @ 2:27 ?
-
correction, JMH!

Even wasted on whatever SRV could still blow the doors off the house. With the power of soul, anything is possible! SRV & HRX forever!
He doesn't seem himself this show. He plays Incredibly as usual but he's usually dripping sweat and giving it everything he's got and I've watched a few songs from this festival and he seems half asleep. His playing seems much less aggressive as well.

Well, this was late 85, right before he sobered up. He was fighting the demons pretty hard at this point in his life.
It feels great knowing that he reached the point in his life that he always wanted before he passed.
I miss him alot... we all do.
Thanks for watchin,
Joel

I was wondering why SRV moves his hand side to side when playing the fast chords from 6:50 to 7:00. Does that help him play faster?

Yeah. I think it does. To me it resembles a shuffle pattern, which I think he was really used to. It takes alot less energy to go side to side rather than up and down. You're covering more area with less movement. Ive tried that move before. its kind of hard, but fun when you get it down. tahnks for watchin.

Playing that insane riff while shaking that guys hand is fucking unbelievable. Makes me want to throw all my guitars away.
