Directed, written and edited by Sherri Larsen, FOUND is an experimental short documenting the process of digging through the treasures of other peoples' past lives from the point of view of a complete stranger. In viewing hundreds of anonymous home movies collected from online auctions, a filmmaker wonders what responsibility she has to these abandoned films, repeatedly asking questions and leaving the viewers to draw their own conclusions. Larsen was the recipient of the James W. Woodruff Fellowship in Media Innovation and Responsibility. FOUND has played at over a dozen national film festivals and has received many accolades, including awards for "Best Experimental Short" at the 2006 Trenton Film Festival and "Best Animated or Experimental Film" at the 2006 Indie Memphis Film Festival.
