Family Geocaching 101

Do you want to know what goecaching is? This is a great family activity to do with kids, teens and tweens. If you have a techie kid or children who do not play outside, family geocaching can be a great option to get them outdoors. This is also a great way to have teachable moments.

I learned Geocaching with my family and eventually taught the first-eve credit bearing Geocaching class at Arizona Western COllege in 2005.  A great activity for everyone!

Geocaching sounds great for children under 10 and while I'm 17 and my brother is 15, I believe he will still be interested in that. That is, if my mom even figures out how to do it!

Sounds like a very fun thing to do with the family. It's sounds like a treasure hunt in a way. Now, I am interested in doing Geocaching.
