It looks like a waste of time to me.

@musikisgeil dude ffs the 4rth dimension IS time, it is also motion. it goes like this, say you have a cube, in the first dimension its 1 point, 2nd is 4 points, 3rd is 8 points, 4 is time AND motion not just time, 5 16 points, 6 is 32 points, and it just ceeps going
-
@LPFer Under what notice? Not to start an arguement but If time is the fourth dimenson, why can we move through time but not control it? I think time is not spatial, it's something we can't label, but I know nothing about science however I do know good mathmeticians can figure geometry of 4d or even 5d objects. How do people know time is even real, how do we know it's not just a sense of movement. That would make blinx the time sweeper 4d which controlling time is not four dimensional.

@musikisgeil Actually....yes it is.
-
@musikisgeil THE 4TH DIMENSION IST TIME, BUT TIME IS SPACE!

in order to see a 4 dimensional object you have to see a 3 dimensional object of all its entirety so it is impossible to see a 4d object in Cartesian coordinate... ie you must create a new coordinate system, ass backwards yes but its the only way... its like seeing a 3d object in the first dimension = not enough information in the first dim under cartisan coordinates

And by the way, really impressive work, I will read your paper sometime, could be interesting :)

@Cheezwizhi9 Seriously, did you even bother to read the description? Or the article? Don't answer questions you don't know the answer to, Cinema4d isn't even mentioned, he WROTE HIS OWN raytracer, pay your respects fool.

omg sorry but that is so 3d it looks like a rotating turd btw

To try to put some of this bickering to rest, the type of 4D being used here is quaternion space, a complex plane using complex numbers with a single "real" axis and three "imaginary" axes. The Julia fractal is produced in the quaternian realm, projected into a 3D solid with color shading to represent the 4th dimension, and raytraced to produce a video in a 2D rectangle.
Read the damn article linked in the description. You might accidentally learn something.
looks 3d to me...
