  • Well Vilma, before you married the guy you both should have submitted yourselves to an AIDS test before you tied the knot. In Mississippi, couples who are wanting to married are REQUIRED by law to submit to these tests so wrongful death (or is it AIDS bioterrorism) lawsuits won't filed against the spouse.

  • @kyuketsukitomodashi The first HIV tests were developed in 1985. This commercial was in 1988. It's quite possible that they got married BEFORE HIV testing was even availible.

  • I wonder what happened to them.

  • lol

  • @100percent2nothing If she didn't have AIDS her baby wouldn't have them. Mabey she got AIDS then had a child. It doesn't mean if she used a condom her baby wouldn't be here.

  • @atl2015 It used to be the standard a long time ago, but it's fading out. I wouldn't be surprised if it came around during the time the syphillis was rampant.

  • so sad:(

  • such a grave problem!

  • @kyuketsukitomodashi ... after 1990 and the passage of the Americans With Disabilities Act. In the early days discrimination against people with AIDS so common that people were scared to take the test and laws like that wouldn't fly.

  • Use a condom? That's like saying the baby shouldn't be there. I thought the woman cared about the baby...it seems a little contradictory to me. Who are they trying to save?

  • i bet u vilma isnt alive today
