well i would just show her the treat, then i would position her the way that i wanted her to do the trick, and try to show her by voice not by signaling what i wanted her to do until she understood the word and knew what to do. then thats when i would give her the treat. when i would give her pieces of cheese instead of the treat, thats when she learned the commands faster.
