@dazzagazza6969 The Pound has fallen as low as 1.40 against the US Dollar......the UK and USA will be Okay as they have eachothers back

@jmallton I live in New Zealand and work for a UK company, which I get paid in sterling. Since 2008 my wage has drop from 2.62 dollars to the pound, to 2 dollars to the pound. Sterling is definiately on the decline.
By the way, New Zealand only bailout/nationalised one small bank. The government did not need to borrow money.

Any time you have an individual that looks at the economy through the lens of Austrian economics, they usually get it right 99% of the time. Not in terms of exact dates (Peter Schiff excluded), but the inevitable consequences of unsound trends. Keynesians on the other hand, driving toward a cliff and all they can do is close their eyes and step on the gas pedal and keep shouting "that's not a real cliff, everything is fine!"

@jmallton Jim Rogers is a wise person, you can see that from the impact that he has on youtube just alone..not to mention wall street. As for his predictions, he got it more right than many people in 2008. The only reason that he might be wrong in the future is because they will not let the free market forces work to correct the flaws in the system.
