I've been picking them for the last 6 weeks! I've told everyone I know and some I don't know about how awesome these are. Sadly, the season is coming to an end. I've even offered to give some to the liquor store clerk I mentioned them to today. They are simply awesome!

This song was written by Guy Clark, a wonderful Texas songwriter and musician. It's a fun song, and I'm sure Mr. Clark got a kick out of John Denver covering it.

I sent this vid to my papa (granpa).he plants and picks tomatoes all the time,and hes gonna be 76 this year,like elvis.this song reminds me of him,and we go to my nana and papas house all the time.but they are still livin.IM 10!!!!

Just discovering this - I didn't realize Denver had covered this great Guy Clark song. I think I like Guy's better, but it is a perfect song for John.

Yup! I have loved this song since the 70's!! Cold, sliced thin with a little garlic salt cures most everything!!!
I sing this song to my grandkids all the time and they all thought I made it up:)
