Such a great artist. Oscar should've went to Mr. Gordon; Paul Newman could've sufficed with an Honorary Career nod. This was not only incredible music, but an incredible performance.

@68shamoa yes, that score won but... there is a but: it's not an original soundtrack, it's a compilation of great jazz compositions - beautifully arranged, we agree - but not original. It's too easy to win this way, with such a cast of musicians and songs!! ;-)

Remarkable video. Recognized only Herbie Hancock & 'Tootie' Heath. Obviously done in France by a professional filmaker. Appears to be a part of a full length movie. Shows us how great quality jazz music is especially when it is recorded & filmed professionally. Thanks for sharing it with us.
