@GlobalistPotato Bi-level car's were first used by the Chicago and North Western, Burlington Northern, Milwaukee Road, the Milwaukee Road was later absorbed by the CNW. To provide stability to the commuter rail system, the RTA was formed in '74 and the Metra brand was formed in '84. And yes, those some cars are still in use today. Contracts were setup with the CNW (now Union Pacific) and Burlington Northern to operate the Metra routes.

@GlobalistPotato They did indeed have bi-level cars. Don't know if any of them have survived to this day, but the pattern is the same.
