a) uh, because I just got here? I loathe that question, it's so ridiculous.

b) The doctor was NOT told that the bringer of his death would knock four times in series 3's Sound of Drums. The little fat psychic lady in Planet of the Dead told him that, and he got freaked. First seed. Rewatch the episode if you cant remember - i'm sure it's worth a second viewing.

Every plot point is important. e.g Saxon tapping his finger to the rhythm of the drums, just 4 secs on screen in Last of the Timelords.

So much stuff happens in the average Doctor Who episode I can't actually tell which plot points are foreshadowing and which aren't.

hcvang is correct, watch last 5 minutes of "planet of dead" and in that the psychic black lady does mention that "your song is ending doctor, but then again..... he will knock four times"
