On January 16, 2009, the California Alliance for Jobs held a press conference at the soon to be halted I-680 Sunol Grade Expansion Project concerning the state's budget crisis.

Over 200 construction workers, road contractors, labor leaders, and local government officials participated to send one simple message.

To urge the California State Legislature to stop it's partisan bickering and pass a state budget that protects the bond money for critical infrastructure projects vital for California's economy and working families.

Please call your local representative today and convince them of the importance of passing a solid state budget.
